Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Melissa is a graduate of Radford University, where she earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business. She began her career in the New York City fashion industry, serving as a Buyer and Merchandise Coordinator, and has carried that valuable experience with her throughout her professional journey.
After relocating to Naples, Florida, Melissa joined Stock Development in 2004 as the Director of Lifestyle and Member Services for The Players Club & Spa. Over her 21-year tenure, she was instrumental in shaping a vibrant and highly social lifestyle program, as well as developing a well-regarded Concierge Program recognized for its excellence and personalized service.
Melissa is now thrilled to bring her passion for hospitality and member engagement to her new role with The Naples Sailing & Yacht Club. She looks forward to creating exceptional experiences and meaningful connections with members in this next chapter of her career.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending quality time with her three children, granddaughter, and two grandsons. She is deeply committed to giving back to the community, having served on the Board of Directors for PACE Center for Girls, Collier for several years where she chaired the Love That Dress fundraiser in Collier County for three years and currently chairs the annual Crazy Pantz fundraiser. She also serves as an honorary board member of Amber’s Antibodies, a nonprofit that supports local families battling cancer.
Melissa takes great pride in fostering a sense of community and believes wholeheartedly that “activities foster friendships, and friendships foster healthy lifestyles.”
